These CD-ROMs contain all the greyscale 1 inch scale maps for an entire county of your choice. Largely based on the six inch to the mile survey of 1829-1843 with some further revision between 1853-55, they each cover an area of 18 by 12 miles. The maps show settlements, roads, rivers and contours to help you to understand the lay of the land. They also show the "marginalia" (the detail around the outside of the map) to further help with your research.
The maps are supplied as PDFs on CD-ROM - which allows you to pan and zoom the images and copy screenshots directly into your own research portfolio.

These prints show the whole of an Ordnance Survey First Edition 6 inch scale sheet of your choice in full colour on CD-ROM.
