First Edition Full Sheets

These prints show the whole of an Ordnance Survey First Edition Six inch scale map sheet of your choice. They were created for use in the Griffiths Valuation to annotate land ownership details so they are perfect for your own research.

Each sheet covers an area 6 miles by 4 miles and shows townland, parish and barony boundaries, individual buildings and fields. They also show the "marginalia" (the detail around the outside of the map) to help with your research even further.

Not sure which sheet you need?

At present, the best way to identify which sheet you need is to check the Griffith's Valuation records which shows the Ordnance Survey sheet number and county against each townland.
